The dates you plan, the people and the answers about them stay on your phone, not on a server of ours. What you send your partner is sealed before it leaves and opens only on their phone.

They pass through our servers sealed for your partner's phone. We deliver them, we don't read them. Photos travel without their location data.

What you want to know before installing
What's free and what's Premium?
Free: planning dates, getting ideas that fit and, if you're seeing someone, a new idea every week. Premium: the Spicy level, every date pack, more options with each weekly idea and up to 5 photos per sneak peek. It's a monthly or yearly subscription, billed by the App Store or Google Play, and you cancel whenever you like.
Is it for people who are dating, not just couples?
Yes. You tell the app whether you're taken or seeing people, and you can change that later in Settings. Seeing people, you plan dates with each person separately, each with their own answers. Taken, every date is with your partner and you can pair your phones.
What is a sneak peek?
A sneak peek is what you send your partner before the date: when it is, the idea titles and photos if you like, never the details. It's sealed on your phone, opens only on your partner's phone and disappears once seen. If it expires before being opened, it can still be opened once with a one-off purchase, at the store's price, before it's erased for good.
How do I pair with my partner?
In Spice My Date, on the Couple tab, choose your partner from your contacts or type their number or email. If they use the app, they get a request to accept. Only a one-way code leaves your phone, never the contact itself. Either of you can undo the pairing alone, in Settings.
If one of us has Premium, does the other get it too?
Yes: on the dates you plan together, while you're paired, one subscription covers you both. You can also give it to your partner: you subscribe and they get the same. Dates with anyone else need a subscription of their own.
Where is my data kept?
The dates you plan, the people and the answers about them stay on your phone and are not synced. Our server holds your account and your profile, and sneak peeks pass through it sealed, with no way for us to read them. It's all in the Privacy Policy.
